I the first time tasted this cake on a birthday of the girlfriend, I was struck by its delicate flavor. It is the best of all to cook such cake on the eve of the celebration, since evening that in a night the cake layers properly became impregnated - and then it will just melt in the mouth and guests will shower you with compliments!

It is required to you

  • For the test:
  • - 8 eggs,
  • - 1.5 glasses of sugar,
  • - 2 glasses of flour,
  • - 2 tsps of the soda extinguished by vinegar
  • - 3 tablespoons of cocoa.
  • For cream:
  • - 2 eggs,
  • - 0.5 l of milk,
  • - 1 glass of sugar,
  • - 2 tablespoons of flour,
  • - vanillin.
  • For impregnation:
  • - 0.5 glasses of any juice or water,
  • - 6 tablespoons of sugar.


1. We shake up eggs with sugar up to the magnificent white weight, we add soda, flour, we shake up well the mixer. We divide dough into 2 parts. We pour cocoa into one part, we mix. We bake 2 cake layers in the form greased with margarine. For cream of egg we shake up with sugar, we add flour, stirring slowly, by a thin stream it is poured in cold milk. We bring to the boil, we add vanillin, we boil 2-3 min. We cool.

2. For impregnation: we add sugar to juice or water, we cook syrup. We cut the cooled-down cake layers lengthways in half. With circular motions from the inside of cake layers we remove a crumb.

3. We pick cake, impregnating cake layers with syrup and greasing with cream, alternating light and dark cake layers. We cover top and sides with cream, we strew with a crumb.
