What is genesis

Genesis is a separate category of philosophy which expresses itself emergence, origin, development of any arisen phenomenon. Initially this concept was applicable to the general world outlook concepts - emergence of the nature or all life.

Originally the outlook was reflected in primitive mythology, legends and eposes about gods, about origin of everything, the surrounding person. Late similar studying origin was displayed in scientific works on philosophy and natural science areas - so there were Kant's works, Laplace on a cosmogonic hypothesis, the theory about the origin of species of Darwin. Since the 19th century the concept of genesis is widely applied in methodology. So, at Hegel this concept is taken as a principle the analysis of consciousness which seeks to define development of science and knowledge in general. Broad application of this term in the sciences studying developments allocated a separate method, and even the separate industries are psychology, genesis sociology.

Since the end of the 19th century except a method of genesis arise a structurally functional method of the Swiss linguist de Saussure which put forward the idea about synchronic and diachronic learning language. The similar ideas based on functionalism and structuralism move forward in sociology, anthropology Malinovsky, Lévi-Strauss, Parsons.

In the 20th century the essential role in society and science is played by an issue of genesis of various forms of consciousness. So, Freud's followers perform with a plan of extraction of different forms of consciousness from initial archetypes, neokantianets define the principle of creative genesis in basis of the theory of study, in phenomenology also allocate its genetic and static parts. In the science existing now also consider obligatory to connect various ways of studying the allocated objects - both evolyutsionistsky approach to genesis, and structurally functional approach. Antokhin on the basis of approach to natural and social objects as to systems difficult, self-organizing and independently developing. He formulated the concept of self-genesis and determination of such regularities in this phenomenon as small ensuring development of the appeared system, laying of its separate components occurring at different times, their association for receiving an outcome, necessary for a system, relativity of historicism in an explanation of transition of a system of functioning from one scheme of actions on another.
