The monological speech, or monologue is a type of the speech which honor or completely is not connected with the speech of other interlocutor neither according to contents, nor on structure. The monologue generally represents a publicistic fragment like lyrical digression, a scientific or business statement.

1. The monologue very often meets in fiction, usually it represents the speech from the first person, such which is not calculated on the answer of other person. The subject of a monologue can be any, it can change.

5. The readiness of the monological speech also influences its look and quality. Professional speakers, as a rule, prefer to write the speech in advance so that from a tribune it sounded surely and firmly. The unprepared person often makes a mistake, typical for a beginner, – tries to form the monologue spontaneously, without preliminary preparation, and most often such performances come to an end with a failure.

6. The monological speech is formed not only of the certain words connected by uniform sense, the oral monologue assumes impact on the interlocutor, application of gestures and language of a body for information transfer. Such speech always assumes presence of the interlocutor listener.

7. The monologue plays very important role in life. Many people love that listened to them, but at the same time are not able to listen. Therefore the speaker is obliged to interest public, to make the monological speech fascinating.

8. A monologue call also special type of the scenic speech, often comic character, a sketch today.
