The schedule allows to receive such data on fluctuations as frequency, amplitude, a phase and a form. Horizontal coordinate on graphics corresponds to time, and vertical - required amplitude.

## Instruction

1. On a horizontal axis of the schedule of attention do not turn. It is required at the solution of other tasks - on finding of frequency, the period, etc. Determine the price of division of a vertical axis of the schedule. For this purpose find on this axis the division, next to the beginning of coordinates, with digital designation and divide into the number of divisions between it (inclusive) and the beginning of coordinates (not inclusive). The price of division will be expressed in the same units of measure, as graduation of a vertical axis of the schedule.

2. Take the 90-degree square. Combine one of its parties with a vertical axis, and then move it down until the second party is combined with a maximum on the schedule of fluctuations. Write out the number corresponding to the next numbered division under horizontal side of the square. Count divisions between it and horizontal side of the square. Increase their quantity by the division price, and add result to the written-out number. It will also be amplitude which is required to be found.

3. If required amplitude is expressed in units which are specified in a task question, the decision comes to an end. If is not present, transfer result to the required units. For example, you found amplitude of alternating voltage in volts, and it is required in kilovolts. Then divide it into one thousand. Or you determined amplitude of fluctuations of the pendulum in centimeters, and it is necessary - in meters. In this case divide result into hundred.

4. Besides amplitude value, is available for alternating voltage acting, corresponding to that constant tension which would force loading to allocate the same power with the same resistance. The ratio between the amplitude and operating values depends on a form of fluctuations. At rectangular fluctuations the operating value is equal to result of multiplication of amplitude value by the porosity (expressed not as a percentage, and in "times"). If fluctuations sinusoidal, for obtaining the operating value divide amplitude into a square root from two.
