As in Mexico the tomb of the prince of Indians Maya is found

According to RIA Novosti, the German archeologists found a tomb of Indians of the tribe of Maya in the territory of the ancient city of Ushul in Mexico. The tomb is in the State of Campeche, near Guatemala, near border.

Ancient Indians of the Maya in one of several locks of the settlement made ritual burial of the person holding a high position in their society. The scientists from University of Bonn participating in excavation claim that remains belong to the prince from a dynasty Calakmul. This family ruled the city for several hundred years.

All palace complex occupies the space of 130 by 120 m. It is made by more than ten constructions. Erected ensemble at the time of prosperity of the power of the above-mentioned surname approximately in 650 of our era. Excavation began to be conducted in 2011.

But only in 2012 the archeologists could find magnificently issued tomb. Built it following after completion of domination of a dynasty Calakmul – approximately in 700 our era. The room of a crypt is decorated by means of the raw stones from within. And funeral rooms are topped with an arch from timbered columns which are characteristic of the Maya civilization. In a tomb the young man's remains are based. He was buried with the hands crossed in a breast. Around his body ceramic household items are located: 5 painted bowls and 4 dishes. The head of a mummy was covered with a tile from ceramics on which by means of ideograms were the stock of data on agrarian and natural cycles, cultural histories of the Maya and astronomy is painted. On one of vessels the archeologists read letters which in translation mean: "This bowl is intended for drink of the prince". But the termination of the writing according to scientists can have two values: "young person" and "prince". Though archeologists consider that the word "prince" more approaches on sense, but after all unambiguously to claim that in a tomb the titled person is buried, there are no bases yet. Scientists assume that the young man was a relative of governors on one of branches, but had no right for inheritance of a throne. Only the location of a tomb and ornament from nephrite found in it can demonstrate its high status.
