About 4.54 billion years ago our planet was formed. Scientists cannot with 100% accuracy of describe process of its formation, but the modern standard theory of its birth has numerous scientific confirmations.

1. Emergence of our planet is directly connected with formation of the Solar system. Billions years ago instead of our native planetary system in space there was the improbable sizes a molecular cloud. At some stage its small part separated, and the protosolar fog was formed. Under the influence of gravitational forces the fog began to contract. After the most part of substance accumulated in the center, the remained matter began to rotate quicker and quicker around it. The fog kernel contracted more and more, as a result in its subsoil the thermonuclear reaction began - there was the Sun.
2. In the cloud rotating around a new star the local centers of gravity, and as a result of the process called accretion that is falling on larger celestial bodies of smaller began to appear, planetezemal - protoplanets were formed. Planetezimalya was much more, than planets now.
3. Planetezimali faced with each other and attracted residues of substance from a gas-and-dust cloud. All planets known to us including Earth and also satellites of planets were as a result formed. Residues of substance which did not get to the field of an attraction of planets were removed with solar wind which proceeded from other neogenic stars.
4. Initially the earth was heated, thanks to it it could absorb all new and new substance from surrounding space and increase in sizes. Also thanks to the fact that substance was in the melted state more dense metals left in the planet, and lighter silicates rose outside, that is the kernel and bark of Earth were formed. Then there was also the first atmosphere from hydrogen and helium. Initial process of formation of the planet took only several tens of millions of years.
5. There passed about eight hundred more millions of years, and on the cooled-down Earth there were first living organisms which radically influenced further development of the planet.
