Alternative to traditional soccer is its reduced version – five-a-side which carries one more name - "futsal" as occupations and competitions are held indoors. This direction has the rules concerning a game, stock, the field and a form.
Five-a-side history
First who thought up such option of soccer were Brazilians, and there was it in 1920. During another FIFA World Cup in 1958 the head of Austrian national team observed how Brazilians in the hall train and it so liked this option of soccer that he later time organized several matches of a futsal in the country. The history of development of five-a-side shows that later a short period of time the new sport extended also to other territories, so began to play it in Holland, Spain and Italy.
As the separate sport a futsal began to be perceived in the mid-seventies. The first match between the national teams was played on July 19, 1974 in Rome. In 12 years in Budapest the World Cup analog where the superiority was gained by the national team of Hungary was organized. The first official World Cup was held in Holland in 1989, and Brazilian national team became the leader. Since then the five-a-side became very popular in the different countries and both professionals, and fans are engaged in it.
Association of five-a-side
In 2002 in Paraguay the world association of a futsal of AMF which headquarters is in Asuncion was founded. In its basis there is a FIFUSA organization which within several decades was the uniform international organization which is engaged in competitions and control of other moments connected with a futsal. The federation of five-a-side since 2003 organizes the international competitions in a futsal. In many countries there are associations.
Five-a-side World Cup
The most important tournament on a futsal is held every four years under the auspices of FIFA. These are the most prestigious competitions for the men's national teams in this direction of sport. It was already mentioned that the five-a-side World Cup the first time took place in 1989 in the Netherlands. The victory in it and two next tournaments was gained by Brazilian national team. What is interesting, in the World Cup in 2016 the Brazilians for the first time in general were left without medals.
Rules of the game in five-a-side
Two teams into which about five people to whom carry also the goalkeeper enter are involved in a game. The total number of participants of team can be 12 people and the number of replacements is not limited. Tactics in five-a-side is constructed so that there is an opportunity to make replacements at any time, even when a ball in a game. This concept is called "flying replacement". It is necessary to notice that the standard rules in a futsal do not exist and in the different countries there are features in a game. There are basic provisions in five-a-side:
- At first carry out draw, and the winner defines who begins a game or from what side of the field they will play. The player who the first concerns a ball has to direct it towards a part of the field of the rival. After a break of team change the parties.
- Rules of five-a-side specify that ejection is carried out behind a sideline and if the ball got to gate, then the goal is not set off. Rules of performance angular are identical to ordinary soccer.
- The blow from gate has to be such that the ball appeared outside the penal platform. If it got to gate, then the point will not be considered. Before the blow is made, players of other team are forbidden to be in the penal platform.
- The penalty in a mine soccer is appointed if the player hit the rival with a hand or a leg or made actions to interfere with its movement with a ball, and still played a hand. If violations are carried out within the penalty area, then the penalty is awarded.
- The difference in free and penalty kick is that in the first case the goal which will be scored from the penal platform will not be set off.
- The point is appointed if the ball crossed the line of gate. If at the end of a match the account equal, then announce a draw.
The field for five-a-side
Rules of a futsal concern also the playground, so, it has to have a rectangular shape with a length of 25-42 m and 15-25 m wide. It is important that length of a sideline was more, than gate. The basic rules of five-a-side include also other nuances:
- For a marking use lines 8 cm wide. The central line divides the field into two equal parts and the center of the platform is noted by a point which is circled with a circle with a radius of 3 m.
- The penal platform represents a quarter of a circle with a radius of 6 m.
- The mark for performance of a penalty is at distance in 6 m from the line of gate. The point for a probitiya of a double penalty is located at distance of 10 m.
- In the field for five-a-side in each corner there is a sector – the fourth part of a circle with a radius of 25 cm.
Gate for five-a-side
On the design and the location of a collar in a futsal are identical to a big game. The distance between racks makes 3 m, and height from the lower bound of a crossbeam to a floor is 2 m. At racks and a crossbeam the identical width and depth – 8 cm. The rules of five-a-side for the goalkeeper concerning parameters of gate specify that their depth has to be at least 80 cm above and at least 100 cm below.
Ball for five-a-side
Parameters of the ball used in a futsal differ from that which is intended for a big game.
- The ball for playing five-a-side can have different diameter, and it enters the range of 62-64 cm, and its weight is in a limit of 400-440 g.
- The internal layer of a ball for a futsal has to be from foam which improves depreciation characteristics and management. High qualities have also combinations, for example, of cotton and polyester.
- In balls pressure in a shell is checked. For what carry out different inspections, so, the ball falling from height of two meters should not jump aside above, than on 65 cm.
Form for five-a-side
For a comfortable game it is important to choose correctly clothes which should not include objects dangerous to people. The regimentals consist of a t-shirt, cut-offs, gaiters, a shchitovka and footwear. The uniform of the goalkeeper of five-a-side allows use of long shorts. One more important point – his clothes have to differ in color from things of players of both teams and judges. If players violate the rules concerning a form, then delete them until the regimentals are put in order.
Footwear for five-a-side
One of important components of a successful game – comfortable footwear which is called by bampam. It is necessary to choose it according to such features:
