Instruction
1. Apply vertical and horizontal lines on a wall. Draw a vertical line closer to a room corner. It is the most convenient to check the accuracy of lines by means of the water-level. Height of walls in the room is usually identical therefore begin with it. Put a step-ladder closer to a corner of the room and apply a zero mark of a roulette to a point of intersection of the vertical line with a ceiling. Combine a roulette with the line. Carefully go down from a step-ladder, holding a roulette. Look what division of a roulette appeared in points of intersection of the vertical line with a floor or with a plinth. Write down height.
2. Measure room length. It is the most convenient to do it on the horizontal line parallel to a floor, or on a plinth if it is equal. Combine a zero mark with a room corner, lay a roulette on the line and write down division which was combined with the second corner.
3. In the same way measure and write down width. Find room perimeter, having put together length and width and having increased the received sum by 2. Calculate the area of walls, having increased room perimeter by its height.
