When training in fundamentals of radio electronics or in the course of carrying out scientific research sometimes there is a need to generate radio waves. To receive a radio wave, the generator of not damped oscillations is required. Besides it is required that learned about existence of these fluctuations far outside the generating station. Let's consider a way of receiving a radio wave in vitro.

Instruction
1. Make the simplest device for receiving electromagnetic oscillations, having connected the inductance coil, the condenser and resistance (resistor) to generator conclusions. But that from the generator the electromagnetic wave ran, it is not enough. Any of elements of the described scheme does not approach for a role of the transferring antenna therefore it should be done as an independent element of a system.
2. To improve situation, connect the condenser of suitable capacity parallel to the inductance coil. For control of a system in a resonance it is desirable to use the condenser of the variable capacity doing all oscillatory contour operated. During the operation of the device the coil and the condenser will exchange among themselves energy, surplus of energy will begin "to be pumped over" between these elements, and a source, the energy coming to loading, will give only that amount of energy which turns into heat.
3. For obtaining radiation manufacture the antenna. The simplest antenna consists of two long and thin cores, and the optimum length of each of cores has to equal quarters of wavelength. Cores arrange along one straight line, and then connect the generator of not damped oscillations to the antenna. Approximately the same antenna arrangements quite often apply not to transfer, and to reception in TVs.
4. By practical consideration pick up the sizes of cores of the antenna that excessive load of the transmitter generator was not created, and the energy which is taken away from it was radiated in space. In certain cases happens it is useful to connect consistently with the antenna the inductance coil. It will allow to compensate the capacitance of an antenna wire.
5. For generation of a radio wave in strictly certain direction make the antenna of several conductors, having picked up their length and a relative positioning, and then giving to these conductors currents from the generating device in the necessary phases. In such a way it is possible to show the phenomenon of an interference of waves. Not always it is required to connect all conductors to the generator, it is enough to receive current in the conductor which is in magnetic field of the main antenna.
