1. It is necessary to consider that on flat sites the depth of ground waters (on a surface) is almost identical. In the territories having an uneven surface, ground waters have smaller depth in lower places.
2. If the territory is boggy, then it means finding of level of waters at a small depth, usually less than one meter. When flooding by water of small cavities it is possible to speak about finding of ground waters at rather high level, that is above ground level. At a large amount of precipitation the level of waters can increase, and during the droughty periods, respectively, to go down. If water comes to a surface, then the mirror of waters can be determined directly by the level of waters on the earth.
3. When finding level of waters below the Earth's surface it is necessary to drill the wells having small diameter. For this purpose the long garden drill (to depth up to 2 meters) or a professional lozhkovy drill which allows to drill and take soil samples at a considerable depth is applied (to five meters). Water level after a proburivaniye is measured in 24 hours. If in 3-5 days the level did not change, then it is the correct value which can be used at construction.
4. If water lies at a bigger depth, it is necessary to study the adjacent territory attentively: to perform inspection of wells, springs, pits, decreases in a surface, etc. When accounting topography of the area, it is possible to call a depth of waters approximately. If waters are not found at a depth up to three-five meters, then you should not look for them – they are safe at construction of the base of buildings. If the mine well or the well is under construction, then information on ground waters is obligatory. In addition it is necessary to find out what breeds the soil having ground waters contains. Additional survey is for this purpose carried out (soil sample is taken).
