1. First, follows from two data numbersof to define maximum and minimum by a comparison method. Then from bigger value it is necessary to take away smaller. Example. It is necessary to define average value between numbers 14 and 76. Seventy six it is more, than fourteen. Difference of these numbers: 76-14=62, it is equal to sixty two.
2. If there is an average value between numbers with different modules (positive and negative), then the difference should be found by the rule of subtraction of numbers with different signs: from bigger number to take away smaller and to deliver to the answer the sign of bigger number. Example: ""-3"" and ""6"" to find a difference between numbers as, |6-3| =3 and to appropriate to the answer a plus.
3. Further, the received difference needs to be divided into quantity of numbers among which it is necessary to find average value. The average value defined in the above-stated example is a boundary two numbers, so for finding of average size follows, to divide the found difference equal to sixty two into two.
