Only the electric motor has a winding therefore its beginning and the end can be found only in this device. It needs to be done in order that after connection the engine simply did not burn down. 1. In the standard electric motor there are three windings. Take a tester, adjust it for work in the mode of an ohmmeter and check resistance between conclusions. If conclusions do not belong to one winding, resistance between them will approach infinity if it is one winding, the tester will show some resistance. Mark couples of conclusions which come to one winding. After that connect all three windings consistently and connect to a current source, voltage of 220 V.

2. At the same time connect a tester in parallel to each of three windings, and measure on it tension. If all windings are connected in concert, that is the end of the first winding is attached to the beginning of the second winding, and the end of the second by the beginning of the third, but on each of windings the tester will show the same tension. If on one of windings tension is more, than on two others, then trade places its conclusions, it is connected incorrectly. After that on each of conclusions hang up the corresponding labels.

3. It is possible to find the beginning and the end of a winding in a different way. For this purpose define contacts of each of windings as it is described in the previous point by means of a tester. Consistently connect two any windings, and connect a tester in an operating mode of the voltmeter to the third. On the connected windings give alternating voltage. If they are connected correctly, that is the end of the first winding is combined with the beginning of the second, but on a tester will register emergence of tension on the third winding. If the tester did not show presence of tension, change conclusions of one of the windings connected consistently and again start up on them alternating current for control. If on the third winding tension did not appear, the engine means it is faulty.

4. After two any windings were coordinated, attach the third winding consistently to one of coordinated, and attach a tester to another. And again do operation on definition of a pile and the end of windings, but in this case if tension on a winding did not appear, then interchange the position of conclusions of an uncoordinated winding.
