Perhaps, you should change some habits to learn to meditate correctly as spirituality categorically excludes everything that damages health. You, of course, can smoke, drink wine, is spicy and salty food. But in 4-5 hours prior to meditation you should refrain from all this and in general from plentiful food.

Before each session it is recommended to take a shower and to clean teeth. And also to set a goal: "I begin meditation that: to update the power, to come to harmony, to be exempted from tension, to find the answer …"

  1. Choose optimum time and duration of occupations

Be guided by the feelings. To enter a condition of absolute rest, detachment and concentration should learn still therefore it is possible to meditate both 20 minutes, and the whole hour. And also 10 minutes can you enough at the beginning. There is no "correct" duration of meditation, there is only your intuitive intuition.

Time of a session has to be always the same. Early morning, evening, or the after-dinner period - is not so important, the main thing is to do not miss any day.

  1. Create yourself comfortable conditions

If you are engaged in active meditation and repeat certain physical exercises, the clothes should not constrain you and around there has to be enough place. Lay a rug that on a floor it was not too rigid, remove everything that disturbs and takes away from you space.

Passive meditation is a long maintenance of static position of a body therefore - just sit down conveniently. You do not seek to imitate in accuracy difficult poses from manuals, especially if they hurt. You touch culture, unfamiliar for you, to learn meditation, but not to torment yourself.

It is possible to use music, aromas, candles - if you want and it helps. And it is possible to do also without them: the correct meditation is the address in itself, but not creation of some external surroundings.

Relaxing, the person freezes, consider it and prepare a warm plaid or a cover. The room has to be aired, but before meditation it is better to close a window. And, of course, a talk or noise behind a wall, presence of people should not distract you.

  1. Relax and concentrate attention on breath and action or a sound

You breathe exactly, smoothly, rounding a stomach on a breath and slightly involving on an exhalation. First you can lose thread of attention and think of some foreign things. Be softly exempted from these thoughts. Do not abuse yourself, just observe. The thought came - release it, return concentration. Again distracted - again quietly turn the internal look on meditation.

  1. Having stopped meditating, do not get up at once

Come back to reality slowly, gradually. Stay alone 5-15 more minutes. The longer you meditated, the more time will be required to you. It is not necessary to be engaged at once in affairs, to eat or watch TV. Keep influence of thin energy and change which occurred in you.

You managed to learn to meditate if you feel how concentration improved, became stronger immune and nervous system, the level of concern and tension decreased, and the vigor increased.
