Sea tears – so in the ancient time called amber, or the stiffened fossil pitch. Transparent light yellow stones, some – with insects inside, were always appreciated in the market of jewelry. The real gifted amber costs expensive also today, however its imitation can be made independently in house conditions. Artificial amber, as a rule, is made of epoxy or other resin, sometimes with addition of a natural stone, sometimes - without it.

Instruction
1. Take epoxy resin with hardener, it is better than import production, in a proportion 9 to 1. Well mix them and fill in the turned-out solution in a form. Before pouring, do not forget to miss the mark a form from within with glycerin that subsequently the product departed from form walls without problems.
2. When epoxy solution already is in a form, add to it two or three drops of water and a thin wooden stick with circular motions stir, creating thereby a pattern. Instead of water it is possible to put in an epoksidka a small insect or a piece of a grass, leaflet. If you want your amber to turn out different flowers, add to different forms with an epoksidka on a paint drop, for example, red or orange.
3. Put molds with artificial amber in well aired room, for example, on a balcony, and do not touch them within a day. Later get artificial amber from forms. Take an emery paper, it is desirable small to smooth out the received products. After cleaning cover them by means of a rag with the GOI special polishing paste.
4. It is possible to do amber in house conditions not with epoxy, and with turpentine pitch. For this purpose take one part of pitch, one part of white rosin and two parts of shellac – natural resinous substance. Kindle separately turpentine pitch in a tin pan with high walls, add to it shellac.
5. Kindle rosin and add it to the kindled mass of pitch and shellac when that becomes liquid and translucent. You cook mix to a condition of full transparency. Then pour it in forms and leave before full hardening. Later polish and varnish products.
