If you sometime want to build a bomb (naturally in peace whole), then you surely need saltpeter. Of course, it can be bought, but it is much more interesting to make saltpeter independently.
It is required to you
- 2 liter bottle
- White ashes (enough to fill a bottle at least on a half)
- Pin
- 4 Buckets
- Fertilizers (pork and cow manure, compost, guano)
- 4 plugs
- Metal container for evaporation (not aluminum)
- Container with a volume more than 2 l
- Hay
- 500 ml of pure alcohol: ethanol, metilirovanny alcohol, etc.
Instruction
1. One of popular ways to make saltpeter such: first of all pour ashes into a bottle and fill in with water. Wait so far ashes will accumulate and put a bottle over an empty container. Puncture a hole in a bottle higher than the level of a deposit. In a container pure liquid has to pour out. To make sure that everything is correct, carry out test reaction with vinegar. If liquid reacts to vinegar – everything means correctly.
2. Drill holes in each of 4 buckets. Close holes plugs. Put hay on a bottom of buckets. And from above powder all with fertilizers. Fill in 1 l of water in the first bucket and leave liquid to be defended for 5-10 minutes.
3. We halfway making saltpeter. Put a metal container under the first bucket, pull out a plug and leave liquid to flow down. Pour what worked well in a metal container in the second bucket and do the same actions, then use the third and fourth buckets.
4. Mix ashes from a bottle with alcohol. Then add the water decanted from buckets there. Dehydrogenate the turned-out mix. The remained powder is also the raw saltpeter.
