Paraffin represents the light yellow or almost white substance which on properties is very reminding wax. Because of the low temperature of melting, rather big thermal capacity and similarity on properties with wax, paraffin is applied in cosmetology, medicine and life to carrying out warmings up, cosmetic procedures and a parafinolecheniye. At the room temperature paraffin is in a firm state therefore before application it needs to be melted.
It is required to you
- - two pans of different diameter;
- - gas or electric stove;
- - paraffin;
- - water.
Instruction
1. Prepare ware. Take rather wide and volume metal pan. Choose a metal pan of smaller depth and volume - such that it could be installed in the first. At installation of the handle of a smaller pan have to lie on a rim bigger, the bottoms should not adjoin.
2. Install a small pan in big. Fill space between them water approximately on a third - so that the small pan adequately plunged into water a bottom. Take a small pan.
3. Begin heating of water in a big pan. Kindle the gas burner or include an electric ring of a plate. Put on it a pan with water and cover. Power of a torch can be made maximum.
4. Prepare paraffin. Shatter it or cut small pieces. You make preparation of paraffin on the newspaper or an oilcloth in order that it is easy to collect and use small crumbs.
5. Lay paraffin in capacity. Compactly place pieces of paraffin in a small pan. Fill it no more than half.
6. Begin paraffin melting. When water in a big pan begins to boil, uncover with it and establish in it small with pieces of paraffin. Lower ring power so that boiling of water continued, but was not intensive. Cover a small pan.
7. Melt paraffin. Wait for full transition of all mass of paraffin to liquid state. The melted paraffin will occupy the smaller volume, than its pieces which are initially placed in a pan. Therefore if liquid paraffin is necessary more, it is possible to place some more firm pieces in ware and to wait for their full fusion.
8. Finish melting process. Switch off a plate ring. Accurately take a pan with paraffin fusion from boiled water.
