Recently more often speak about universal distribution of nitrates (salts of nitric acid) and their negative influence on the state of health of people. Strangely enough, a large amount of salts contains in water therefore it needs to be cleaned.

1. One of "suppliers" of nitrates in a human body is water to which they get together with economic and household and industrial drains and also from the agricultural fields which are generously strewed with zotosoderzhashchy fertilizers. Owing to what salt of nitric acid in large numbers concentrates in well water, in small wells, in the rivers and lakes. That is why, using this reviver from underground sources, it is necessary to check it for nitrates, and at the increased contents it is obligatory to delete them.
2. Use technical means. Today the way of water purification from nitrates via special filters with anion ion-exchange materials and also by means of installation of a reverse osmosis is widespread. The last way is the most reliable: under the influence of pressure, water gets on a semipermeable membrane which detains nitrates and other unhealthy elements and "gives out" eager purified water. Using installation of a reverse osmosis, it is possible to remove up to 96% of impurity (it depends on a design of the device and on membrane model) even if the composition of the polluted water considerably changes.
3. In some cases water is purified by means of ion-exchange pitches. Process of replacement of anion of pitch (chloride ion) nitrate ion is the cornerstone of this way. But there are features: capacity of pitch is limited to a certain volume of anions which it is capable to be assumed for providing the necessary extent of water purification. As soon as pitch "is completely sated", process of removal of impurity practically stops. And sometimes, at filter resource exhaustion, there can be even a dumping of nitrates into already purified water. Therefore such method of removal of salts of nitric acid in private houses is not effective because here it is difficult to provide constant control behind quality of cleaning.
