The ability to solve problems of chemistry can be useful not only to the school student and the student, but also the worker on production, the housewife in kitchen, to the gardener on a personal plot. There is a simple algorithm which allows to solve standard chemical problems.

Instruction
1. It is necessary to approach the solution of a chemical task systematically. Attentively sort its condition, write down all data in a column. Transfer all sizes to the uniform system of measurement. Separately write down required size. In figure 1 sizes which are used in standard school tasks and their units of measure are presented.
2. Type of tasks most just - the tasks solved by means of some settlement formulas. In such tasks there is no need to work out the reaction equations. To look rather attentively at the table of standard chemical formulas (figure 2) and to choose those formulas which will be necessary to find required size according to the known data.
3. Tasks in which the reacting substances are specified are more difficult, in this case you need to work out the reaction equation. Theoretical knowledge of the main chemical reactions and connections in order that it is correct to establish reaction products will be necessary for you. Besides, you will need to balance coefficients in the equation. For equalizing of coefficients it is necessary to remember that the amount of each substance which reacted and total amount of substance remain constants. After you work out the reaction equation, you will need to find amount of the known substance, and then with its help amount of unknown substance. The further decision comes down to selection of a formula for finding of required size again.
4. There is a type of chemical tasks on a surplus/shortcoming. In these tasks it is necessary to calculate amounts of the reacting substances and, considering reaction coefficients, to find out what substance it is more. Further calculation needs to be conducted on substance of which it is less as it will react completely, and here the substance which is much partially will remain not reacted.
5. To learn solve standard chemical problems everyone can, teachers say that it is necessary to proreshat about 15 problems of each type independently to solve them surely.
