1. It is possible to sort a word on sounds, analyzing sounds in that sequence in which they are in a word. You have to know that all sounds are divided into two main groups: public and concordant. Therefore when you sort a word, begin with clarification of that, the sound is public or concordant. Know that vowels are formed by means of a voice, and concordants - both by means of a voice, and by means of noise (if it is a ringing or sonorny sound). Breath consonants consist only of noise. Write down sounds, concluding in square brackets. For example, [e].
2. If you defined that a vowel, write, shock it or unaccented. To percussions in a word there can be only one sound. On it the accent falls. It is a strong position of a sound. For example, in the word ""world"" the sound is Also to vowels and percussions.
3. If you defined that a consonant, write, deaf or ringing it is. Remember that almost all sounds form couples on sonority - dullness. For example, at ringing couple will be [o]. But is also such which have no couple. For example, sonorny sounds [l] [m] of [N] [p] [й] have no couples. Also deafs [y] [x] [c] have no steam rooms ringing. 5. On softness/hardness the sounds form couples too. So, [b] can be both firm, and soft. Everything depends on its position in a word. But not all sounds have couples. For example, sounds [h] [y] [й] always only soft, and [g] [x] [c] are firm.
6. Know that there are situations at which letters form two sounds. If letters E,Yu,Ya cost at the beginning of a word, or after, Kommersant, or after public, they form the following combinations: ю - [й], [s]; е - [й], [aa]; I am [й], [a]. For example, in the word ""hole"" letter Ya designates two sounds: [й] and [a].
