How to transfer volts to volts

How to transfer volts to volts

What tension works between two points of the scheme? The answer to this question is not so obvious as it seems. There are two values of tension: amplitude and acting. The way of recalculation of one in another depends on a form of fluctuations.

Instruction

1. Measure amplitude value of tension by means of an oscillograph. In the beginning give on it constant tension, in a form close to estimated amplitude value of measured. Establish the scale, convenient for measurement. Calculate what tension is the share of one division of a scale. Then, without changing settings of an oscillograph, instead of constant tension give on it measured. Then determine its amplitude by a scale.

2. If tension is constant, do not make any calculations: its operating value to equally amplitude.

3. If tension changes under the sinusoidal law, divide its amplitude value into a root from two, and its operating value will turn out.

4. For bipolar rectangular impulses if tension only changes polarity, but never becomes for a long time equal to zero, accept the operating value equal amplitude, irrespective of porosity. For unipolar rectangular impulses when tension becomes equal to zero, a maximum, find the relation between duration of an impulse and the full period, and increase it by amplitude value, and it will turn out acting. For a unipolar meander the operating value is equal to a half of amplitude.

5. If tension changes under the difficult law, to transfer its amplitude value to acting in the mathematical way extremely difficult, and in some cases and it is impossible. Load a source optopary, consisting of the glow lamp and the photoresistor. Optopara with a light-emitting diode will not approach. Pick up a lamp so that it minimum loaded a source and shone dimly. Measure photoresistor resistance. Then switch a lamp to a source of constant tension. Adjust it so that resistance of the photoresistor became the same. Constant tension on a lamp will become equally operating value measured, with only that difference that the first can be measured without difficulties by the ordinary voltmeter.
