Coordinates of an object can be written down in several types: in degrees, minutes and seconds (ancient way), in degrees and minutes with decimal fraction and also in degrees with decimal fraction (modern option). 1. If you were given coordinates in degrees with decimal fraction, transfer them to degrees and minutes. At first count width. 3. If you, on the contrary, need to transform coordinates from degrees to decimal fraction, arrive as follows. Divide the minutes specified in the form of decimal fraction into 60, as a result at you a fractional part of number of degrees will turn out. 4. To turn coordinates with minutes and seconds into decimal, act this way. Begin with the end: at first translate seconds in minutes, having divided their value into 60. Write down the received result in the form of the degrees and minutes specified with decimal fraction. Then transfer minutes to degrees, having also divided them into 60. As a result you receive required value of coordinates in degrees.
