2. If the checked word answers the question "when?" or "in what time?", before you not a noun, but a pretext. Therefore, on the end the letter "e" has to be written. For example, "throughout a travel we went to the Wild West". When did we go to the Wild West? – Throughout a travel. Also that before you the noun, will say the fact that it can be used without dependent words, separately. For example, "in continuation the new hero appeared". If before you a pretext, then it surely has to be used at the same time a word which it operates. For example, "throughout a week", "throughout evening".
3. Most often the instruction on a period of time, for example on time of day, signals that before you a pretext. However for check after all it is necessary to ask a question. For example: Throughout morning the mountain of work fell down me. – When did the mountain of work fall down me? But: Throughout morning there was some special charm. – In what there was a special charm? In the first case before you the pretext, and on the end is written "е", but in the second case before you a noun with the termination "and".
