Focuses with a levitation are one of the most favourite at the audience and illusionists, they make an indelible impression. At heart almost everyone wants to trust in an opportunity to overcome gravitation and to soar in air.
How illusion of a levitation by professionals is created?
- Professional conjurers in the course of the performances use specially developed mechanisms which raise a body in air. For this reason the levitating person or a subject is usually covered with the fabric designed to hide this mechanism.
- Slightly more difficult, but tricks during which the illusionist rises in air look much more effectively, flying by through hoops and other obstacles to show lack of any support. Actually in air it is held by thin, but very strong cables, and in hoops there are imperceptible cuts.
- Also more often on streets it is possible to see conjurers who are groundless for hours, leaning a hand on only one cane. It is not difficult to guess that the cane has the continuation passing through a sleeve and which is coming to an end with a wide metal plate on which the illusionist sits and spacious clothes and a rug under it perfectly hide all design.
Exposure of a levitation without use of difficult mechanisms
Very simple, but too quite effective focus can be made without auxiliary objects. Only wide trousers and free footwear will be necessary. The conjurer becomes a side to the audience, imperceptibly pulls out the leg hidden from them from a boot and puts it perpendicular to the second leg. A heel the illusionist presses the released boot to foot and rises on a sock, being late in such situation for couple of seconds. Here the effect of a levitation is so just created.
Focus with the levitating objects does not do without fishing line or thin invisible thread. One end she is tied to a subject, throw thread through a neck and fixed on a hand. Easy movements by the head and fingers will force a subject to soar in air.
Whether the real levitation is possible?
In the nature there is such phenomenon as a diamagnetic levitation. It is based on Meyssner's effect – replacement of magnetic field. There are also examples of a levitation of people, however they are few and very doubtful.
