The concept of intellectual development consists in formation of ability to mastering and practical application of various types of thinking – figurative, theoretical, dialectic, etc. Understand ability to independently analyze events and the phenomena and to draw conclusions and generalizations together with inclusion of speech function as an organic part.

Development of mental abilities

This aspect is affected by genetic and congenital factors and also the environment. Difficult numerous interactions between them also determine the level of intellectual development. Influence of the environment represents the incentives received by the person from the moment of conception and to death. It is about food, cultural information, social experience, etc.

It is impossible to divide genetic influences and influence of the environment as genes prove in the context of influence of the environment, and the last always acts through biological structures. Development of mental and creative abilities of pupils depends on many factors, treat them:

  • the cell takes social status of the family, that is what place in society what ethnic and behavioural features to it are characteristic;
  • the child's food, its sufficiency and insufficiency, especially at infantile age;
  • mental stimulation. The children living in families and feeling love and care of parents considerably overtake in intellectual development of peers from orphanages;
  • family number. The more in family, the average intelligence quotient is lower than children.

It is possible to increase I.Q. by training, and it decreases at the children who gave up study and increases at those who pass from less prestigious school into more advanced.
