On what signs of people - a mammal

In the system of the organic world of people holds a specific place. It belongs to the kingdom Animals, to type Chordates, to a class Mammals. Further, narrower classification carries it to group Primacies, to family Hominids, to the sort Person, a type of Homo sapiens.

General characteristic of mammals

Mammals are one of classes of vertebrate animals, along with fishes, Amphibia, reptiles and birds. They bring up cubs milk, have constant body temperature, their body is usually covered with hair. The germ of the majority of mammals develops in mother's womb at constant humidity, temperature, intake of nutrients and oxygen through a maternal organism (only yaytsekladushchy mammals, or pervozver – for example, an echidna, a duck-bill lay eggs).

In comparison with other animals, the brain of mammals reached the best development thanks to what they form new, difficult conditioned reflexes and they rather easily adapt to the changing situation. So far about 4000 different types of mammals are known.

Why the person is carried to a class by Mammals

As well as for all representatives of mammals, such signs of the external and internal building as are characteristic of the person: indumentum, four-chamber heart, two circles of blood circulation (arterial blood does not mix up from venous). The alveolar structure of lungs considerably increases their respiratory surface and promotes intensive gas exchange with the environment. Live birth is characteristic of the majority of mammals. This biological line is observed also at the person. The germ of the person, as well as almost at all mammals, is reported with a maternal organism through a placenta, and the newborn cub eats mother's milk which is developed at it in mammary glands (yaytsekladushchy mammals have no mammary glands: milk together with then is allocated outside, and cubs pinch it from the surface of a body). Milk and second teeth are cut through at the majority of mammals in a certain sequence and on time. The same occurs also at the person. A brain in the central nervous system, and especially bark of big hemispheres (evolutionary it is the youngest department of a brain), reaches considerable development.

What signs of the building distinguish the person from other animals

The person has many common features and with other taxons of animals – for example, with primacies whom treat, besides Homo sapiens as well monkeys. But at the same time there are also essential differences. So, transition to bipedalism led to basic changes in a skeleton, muscles, arrangement of internals. The brain of the person occupies the most part of weight from all body weight, than other primacies. The lower jaw and muscles of language are adapted for speech activity, the backbone has four bends. Foot got a vaulted form, and fingers on hands became more mobile and dexterous.
