Xenon

Reacts with fluorine, hydrogen and oxygen. It is applied: - as filler of glow lamps; - as radiation source in medical radiography; - in ionic and plasma engines of spacecrafts; - as inhalation anesthesia; - for fluorine transportation.

Radioactive gas radon

The radioactive gas which does not have a smell, taste and color. It is well dissolved in water, even better dissolved in fatty tissue of the person and in organic solvents. Radioactivity of gas promotes its fluorescence. Shines in blue color, when passing through a digit tube color changes on dark blue. The most active of inert gases. It is applied in medicine as a component of radonic bathtubs. Also radon is used in geology for the forecast of earthquakes. At frequent inhalation of radon the lung cancer can develop.
