What is DNA reduplication

Knowledge Base Hits: 57

Reduplication is a doubling of a spiral of DNA which happens in the course of cell division. The spiral of DNA is located in a kernel and after it forks, all other processes which accompany cell division begin.

Why reproduction of cages is necessary

Reproduction is the main property which distinguishes living organisms from lifeless. All types of living organisms are capable to reproduction similar, otherwise the look would disappear very quickly. Ways of reproduction of various beings very much differ from each other, but cell division is the cornerstone of all these processes, and DNA reduplication mechanism is its cornerstone.

Cell fission at all not necessarily accompanies process of reproduction of an organism. Growth and regeneration depend on cell fission too. But at monocelled beings to whom bacteria and protozoa, cell division – the main reproductive process belong.

Metaphytes live much longer, than monocelled, and time of their life exceeds the period of life of cages of which they consist, sometimes in a huge number of times.

As there is DNA reduplication

Doubling of a spiral of DNA – the most important process at cell division. The spiral is divided into two similar, and each chain of chromosomes is absolutely identical to parental. For this reason process is called reduplication. Two identical "halves" of a spiral are called hromatida. Between DNA spiral bases (it is adenine-thymine and guanine-tsitozin) there are complementary hydrogen communications, and during reduplication special enzymes break off them. Complementary call such communications when couple can connect only with each other. If the speech about DNA spiral bases, then guanine and tsitozin, for example, form complementary couple. DNA thread disperses on two parts then to each nucleotide other complementary nucleotide is attached. Thus it turns out that two new spirals absolutely identical are formed.

Mitosis – cell division process

As a rule, cages share by means of a mitosis. Several phases enter this process, and nuclear fission is very first of them. How the kernel was divided, shares also cytoplasm. Such concept as cell life cycle is connected with this process: this time which passed from the moment of separation of a cage from parental before she was divided. The mitosis begins with reduplication. After this process the cover of a kernel collapses, and any time of a kernel in a cage does not exist at all. Chromosomes are most twisted at this time, them it is well visible in a microscope. Then two new spirals are divided and move to cage poles. When spirals achieve the objectives – everyone approaches the cellular pole – that are untwisted. In the same time around them kernel covers begin to be formed. While this process comes to the end, cytoplasm division already begins. The last phase of a mitosis occurs when two absolutely identical cages separate one from another.
