Mars – the planet, the fourth from the Sun, relating to terrestrial group. The huge amount of hematite as a part of the Martian soil gives to Mars a blood-red shade therefore it is called still "The red planet". The neighbor of Earth having the similar duration of day and average annual temperature from the middle of the 20th century began to involve researchers around the world.
In 1965 the interplanetary station "Mariner-4" came to the Martian orbit and made a number of pictures. Supporters of a hypothesis of intelligent life on Mars were deeply disappointed: instead of the cities, canals, forests and vegetation they saw a dead desert landscape with craters and deep canyons.
It seemed that the courageous hypothesis is forever buried, but in 1976 the American device "Viking-1" photographed the surface of Mars in more detail. In one of photos the education similar to a human face was clearly visible. This education was conditionally called "sphinx". In nine kilometers west of a sphinx pyramidal objects, with the basis one and a half kilometers and one kilometer high were photographed.
So-called "glass hearts" - the formations similar to glass tunnels or on the ice acting from the soil were found in near-polar areas. But the most interesting object is the spaceship crashing into the soil. In the photo the furrow formed probably at the crash of the large aircraft is visible. It, having left a long mark in the soil, hit against the rock and broke up in half. By calculations its length is about hundred meters. Besides, in some pictures the "skulls", women'ssculpture" ", "the city of Inca" which dried up beds of the rivers, the coastline of ancient oceans are visible. The bulk of the well-known objects is concentrated in the Sidoniya Desert. The last researches showed existence under the Martian soil of a huge amount of ice. It allowed scientists to make the assumption that far back in the past Mars had both the atmosphere and the real oceans of water which disappeared as a result of some global planetary disaster. The army of researchers on this problem was divided into two camps. Some consider sights of Mars the remains of an ancient civilization which existed in times, prehistoric to terrestrial measures, but in short terms was destroyed. The remains of this civilization of an otkochevala on the neighboring planet – Earth also became founders of all ancient cultures which center was Ancient Egypt. The artifacts found at excavation on the Giza plateau in Valley of the Kings allow to draw a parallel with the pictures taken by "Viking" in the Sidoniya Desert. Sceptics consider all found objects only a freak of nature, ordinary rocks and ledges, and all assumptions – the cleared-up imagination of ufologists and alternative historians. Only the expedition to Mars planned for 2030 can solve a dispute, perhaps.
