The socionics as the doctrine was created in the seventies the 20th century by Aushra Augustinavichyute, the Lithuanian sociologist and the economist. It is the theory about that, how exactly the person perceives the world around and interacts with other people.

1. The name "socionics" is taken from the Latin word "societas" that means society, society. The basis of socionics was formed by Jung's doctrine about psychological types together with Anthony Kempinsky's theory about information metabolism. It is necessary to understand mental processes of each person, information processing about the world around as this term and his perception. Attempts to describe thus different temperaments of people were made and earlier, Hippocrates who created the term "temperament" became the founder. In the doctrine Karl Jung entered 4 functions of mentality which are nowadays taken for the main: it is an intuition, thinking, feeling and emotions. Having added to them two installations - an introversion and an ekstraversiya, he brought a system out of 8 types of temperament.

Depending on what prevails in the person - logic or emotions, feelings or an intuition, an ekstraversiya or an introversion the type of the person influencing his perception of the world is formed. This type defines that the person wants to receive in communication, in the relations, his preferences and weaknesses, professional abilities in any given spheres. The socionics studies models of psychological compatibility of people. Different types of persons will also apprehend the same event absolutely differently. The description of the same subject in lips of people, different in temperament, will sound differently, because too that one of them will pay attention to a form and will tell about it, and the second will describe esthetics of a type of a subject, the third first of all will start talking about advantage and practicality.
3. Karl Jung in the researches came to a conclusion that the psychology needs to be studied on healthy people in their everyday life. Using this rule, the socionics assumes presence at people of 16 psychotypes. Classification on psychotypes happens being based on how the person perceives surrounding reality and what pays attention to first of all. Aspects in socionics are based on 4 physical concepts: Time, Space, Matter, Energy. Difference of socionics from other tipologiya that the behavior of people is not simply studied, but differences in perception of information on the world and the nature of information are considered. This approach allows to look more deeply at motives of acts, to see the tendencies and opportunities which are quite often suppressed under the influence of the moment.
4. The right definition of the type really allows to look differently at the nature of the aspirations, and quite often and to try some new area. Quite often people feel sense of relief, having understood the true essence, and here the doctrine about socionics is not worse than others at all. Defining psychotypes of people around, it will be in certain cases easier to understand, than their behavior is dictated and how to find a common language with the person.
