Everyone day of people are heard by a set of various terms and scientific definitions: in media, in a talk, at lectures... Often, turning to information a deaf ear, he does not think of their value. Speaking about ecology call it science "about environmental protection", but what sense should be put in this concept actually?
Ecology: main definition
The concept of ecology for the last ten years began to be treated absolutely differently, than it was supposed at the very beginning of development of this science after Ernst Gekkel in 1986 offered this term in the work "The general morphology of organisms" (Generelle Morphologie der Organismen).
Thanks to more and more obvious consequences of impact of the person on the environment and, therefore, growth of importance of its protection, the science ecology is often connected with environmental protection though traditional definition of ecology sounds approximately so. "Ecology - science which studies interaction of the nature and the inorganic and organic components of the environment created by the person. The ecology studies important processes, the occurring in to the nature and beyond its limits and influencing at each other, leading to certain consequences."
The complexity of definition of the term "ecology" is also caused by the fact that scientists have no final idea of structure of this science and also they are at a loss in delimitation between it and a set of related subjects.
Methods and objects of researches of ecology
The complexity of definition of a concept of ecology is also caused also by the fact that she studies the most part of large biological systems: biocenoses, populations, ecosystems and all biosphere of the planet Earth.
Besides the listed systems, the ecology has a direct bearing also on a noosphere - evolutionarily new type of the biosphere which covers all living organisms and things created by human mind, concluding them in a uniform system.
The ecology for itself sets as a main objective creation of the principles of the way of use of natural resources, correct in terms of rationalism, that is such principles of use of resources of our planet which will not harm the person and other organisms. The ecology has the same set of methods, as the majority of the sciences connected with biology: field, analytical and experimental. The field method means observation of functioning of living organisms in their habitat - without any intervention from the person (if only this is not about observation of the person, as a look). Experimental is understood as check of influence of various factors on living organisms in vitro or in the simulated conditions which are partially imitating natural living conditions of an organism. In ecology an analytical method call use built during the experiments and observations of statistics for forecasting of development of any given processes proceeding in the environment.
