What is the laser level

The laser level is the measuring device intended as for works indoors, and in the open air. It is possible to define the difference of heights by it. Laser levels rather appeared recently in the Russian market, but quickly won broad popularity. They allow to define a bias with high precision, are simple and reliable.

Laser levels happen two main classes: for household application and for professional. By means of the household laser level it is possible to measure height difference at distance up to 10 meters with an accuracy of 0.5 mm/meter. Practically all models are completed with laser light-emitting diodes thanks to what well visible beams are let out. Time of measurement does not exceed 4–5 seconds.

Household laser levels are used at finishing works in rooms for an exact marking. The horizontal is exposed by means of a point of the laser projected on a surface which should be processed.

Professional laser levels have higher characteristics in comparison with household. With their help it is possible to measure a bias at bigger distance with much smaller error. For example, many models of professional laser levels allow to measure biases at distance from 30 to 100 meters, at the same time the accuracy of measurements is 0.3 mm/meter. Such devices are placed in the strong building protected from harmful effects of external conditions (dust, an atmospheric precipitation). There are rotational and self-leveled professional laser levels. Rotational levels can rotate round its pivot-center that very conveniently when working, they are simple and reliable, perfectly protected from adverse weather conditions. The self-leveled laser levels have the internal pendulum which lets out five beams and is supplied with a crosswise sight for simplification of search of the necessary object. The design of the self-leveled level provides its automatic shutdown after 20 minutes of work. Thus, during the measuring works the laser level will become your reliable assistant, will provide high precision of measurements.
