The concept of soul is known since the most ancient times, it is present at beliefs of various people. At the same time, the science does not hurry to recognize reality of soul though many researchers try to prove its existence.
It is necessary to tell at once that the official science in general is skeptical about existence of soul very much. Therefore attempts to prove or disprove its reality generally are undertaken by enthusiasts, at the same time results of their researches every time are exposed to serious criticism. The fact that its existence as a certain non-material immortal essence is beyond scientific knowledge is the main reason of so skeptical relation of official science to a research of soul. The people brought from a condition of clinical death very often tell strange stories that they left a body and saw everything that occurred nearby. They in detail describe actions of the doctors trying them to save, interior details. Some for the time spent out of a body manage to visit other cities at the relatives. Many of those whom doctors literally pulled out from death paws, tell about a light tunnel on which carried away them somewhere. Some met already died relatives. At the same time the vast majority of the people who endured posthumous experience say that they very much did not want to come back. How does the science belong to such messages? With mistrust. Many scientists consider that all this is not proofs of existence of life after death – so, and existence of soul. Scientists explain a light tunnel with attenuation of activity of the sites of a brain responsible for sight. The fact that many people found themselves out of a body and clearly saw everything that occurred around, just does not undertake in attention. As a last resort, everything is written off for hallucinations.
Where consciousness of the person is?
The question of where there is a consciousness, has a direct bearing on study soul most. Consciousness, apparently, belongs to soul. Very important the fact that scientists did not manage to find the sites of a brain responsible for consciousness of the person. The full conviction in existence of life after death – so, and souls became a result of its long-term researches. The researches proving existence of immortal soul become more and more every year. Their descriptions already begin to be published in serious foreign scientific publications. It is quite natural – the true scientist cannot deny the facts even if they contradict his picture of the world. Therefore it is possible not to doubt that attempts of enthusiasts to prove existence of soul by scientific methods will be continued.
