Revolution is a radical change in development of society or the nature. This change radically differs from the previous state. Revolution differs from evolution in faster and significant processes. The difference of revolution from reform is that bases of the existing system change.

1. Revolutions are divided into natural, public, economic, political, social, scientific. Revolution can take place in any sphere. At crisis in public, political or economic spheres there is a revolutionary situation.

2. In political science of revolution are subdivided into social and political. At social revolution there is a change of a social and economic system. At political revolution there is a change of a political regime.

3. The most important sign of revolution - profound, global change of the existing system, full reorganization of the political system and the relation of society to the state. Terms of these changes vary from several months to 1-2 years. Revolutionary movement happens thanks to grass-roots movement of oppressed classes

4. Revolution can take place in the nonviolent way. It occurs in case the revolutionary party is able to achieve the objectives peacefully.

5. One more sign of revolution is that there is it under the direction of revolutionary movement. If the revolutionary party is in opposition to the power, then it is revolution "from below". If the revolutionary party is a part of the state institute – parliament or the government, it is revolution "from above".

6. The impossibility of the state institute to manage effectively society and absence at society of an opportunity to influence ruling regime by means of legal methods are the reasons of political revolution. The developed economic relations which do not develop national economy can serve as the causes of economic revolution and lead to crisis. Refer uneven, unfair distribution of income between classes of society to the reasons of social revolution.

7. Social and political revolutionary situations are expressed in an economic and political crisis of part of society. The political situation which precedes revolution is characterized by mass revolutionary mood of oppressed classes.

8. The political revolutionary situation is distinguished by the following signs: 1. Impossibility of ruling class to keep the domination in the previous form. 2. Need and poverty of oppressed classes.3. Increase in political activity in society.

9. The revolutionary situation with time is only aggravated. The higher it the stage, the more oppressed classes are ready to carry out cardinal changes in the political system. But not any revolutionary situation leads to revolution. If revolutionary masses is not ready to organized actions, then the revolutionary situation gradually falls down.
