In Russian only one belongs to the category of reflexive pronouns – "itself". It indicates an object which is equal to the subject. This point of view is shared by most of linguists, but some, making minority (for example, N.Yu. Shvedova), rank as this category of pronouns and one more – "each other".
Instruction
1. "Itself" has no such morphological features as a sort and number. The last sign is expressed only syntactically by means of a form of the most coordinated word. Examples: "I can make excellent manicure to myself", "For birthday it wished itself(himself) future success and excellent good health" and "You should not blame yourself for it" or "I always considered myself very beautiful", "Even relatives always considered that he was itself canny", "When they learned about future child, did not remember themselves with happiness".
2. "Itself" has no Nominative case form in singular and plural. Oblique cases of this pronoun are formed by means of the same terminations, as various forms of a personal pronoun "you". In turn, at a pronoun of "each other" which some linguists belongs to returnable at inducement the second part, and as well as a noun changes. Inducement: except a Nominative case form, the others of, or and "about", and the second pronoun also without Nominative case form, and further – "each other", "each other", "each other", "with each other", "about the friend the friend".
3. And certain case forms were fixed also in a number of phraseological combinations: "In their company I somehow felt ill at ease", "Well nothing to myself!", "At that party was so-so", "He is canny", "It lives in itself" and "Not in itself". Found the reflection in phraseology also a form of an instrumental case "itself". Examples: "Of course, it needless to say" and "It is necessary to be oneself". Also very steady character was gained by this form at characteristic of human appearance. Examples: "It is good itself" and "Himself he is written handsome".
4. In the proposal of most often acts as addition, is a little more rare – as a circumstance. Examples: "It erected to itself(himself) a monument still during lifetime" and "He constantly rummaged around himself as though he lost something". It is also necessary to remember what to "itself" has to differ from a homonymous particle. The reflexive pronoun in this case surely answers a question "to whom?" Examples of it: "I at last found to myself work to liking" and "Help yourself better" which differ from "It to the idea to themselves and does not think about anything serious" and "The new book of this writer appeared so-so".
