The world around is penetrated by the most various radiations. Most of them are invisible to the person, he can perceive their some part. In spite of the fact that the main part of radiations remains to the person inaccessible, it is difficult to overestimate their role in his life.

There is no sunlight, on Earth there would be no plants not only, but also in general any life. Thanks to radiations of people has an opportunity to see. An eye is capable to perceive light photons in the range from red to violet, the length of a light wave matches every color. The world around is perceived only because an eye catches the light waves reflected from objects. It is enough to close eyes, to lose an opportunity to perceive light radiations to understand what this benefit – to be able to see. The person learned to use different types of radiations long ago. Once he just basked in the sun or at a fire, feeling heat transferred by infrared beams. Later, in process of formation of a civilization and development of science, possibilities of use of radiations considerably extended. The person seized electromagnetic radiation thanks to what radio and television, modern cellular communication appeared. Learned to induce coherent radiation that led to emergence of laser technologies. X-ray radiation is widely applied in medicine and the industry, so actively the person uses the radiation of radioisotopes – for example, for fight against cancer tumors. It is possible to draw quite valid conclusion that the role of radiations in human life is incredibly high. Thanks to them there was Earth and the person, they are actively used in many spheres of life. At the same time there are all bases to believe that not all types of radiations are open and studied. It is quite possible that with their opening and introduction, life of mankind will change wonderfully.
