There are many various stories and legends of somebody the humanoid living somewhere in mountains and having fantastically dense indumentum. There are no direct instructions on existence of this so-called Yeti, but people claim that they saw it personally, and some even show photos.
Yeti
In descriptions eyewitnesses it is always told about a being who the look reminds the person: the orthograde being, has the developed extremities, but differs in larger constitution and powerful muscles and also a shape of a skull, a massive lower jaw and long hands. At the same time the lower part of a trunk is quite short.
Indumentum is widespread on all body. The hair color in "testimonies" of eyewitnesses differs: someone speaks about the red person, someone about fair-haired, points some to a gray hair of hair which cover all body. It is remarkable that on the head the hair according to descriptions are longer, than on all other body, and there are even a beard and mustache.
There are descriptions of meetings with individuals of various growth, beginning from the most usual human, to really giant.
The yeti presumably well climbs rocks and trees, and therefore there is an assumption that their population lives in mountain caves. However, there are also other versions. It is considered that the Yeti can live in forests, and his house presumably is located on high trees and represents similarity of nests. These individuals are incredibly fast. In these stories it is said that Yetti – people so christened the Yeti - it is possible to meet in various areas of Earth, but it always highlands or the forest area. Legends on the person who barefoot goes on snow are distributed in the Nanaian epos and also legends of other northern people, mentions of the Yeti and occur in the Tibetan myths which describe it as one of the most ancient beings keepers of mysteries of Earth. People who visited the Himalayas tell about Yetti for this reason many in search of a mysterious being storm mountain tops and arrange the real round-ups. Nobody managed to catch the yeti still, however, as well as authentically to define at least the place of its dwelling.
Truth or fiction?
Though a large number is claimed that Yetti exists actually, still scientifically it is confirmed with nothing. There is, of course, a theory that it is the primacy belonging to the same sort, as people, who remained since prehistoric times up to now. However such theory breaks against scepticism – as it managed to the Yeti to disappear so dexterously from modern watch facilities why it does not come for contact and does not leave activity marks.
Perhaps, yetis have ability to influence subconsciousness of the person and force not to notice the presence or to arouse fear.
It is possible that some attested cases of meetings with this terrible being - the Yeti - that other as a meeting with the run wild people, the living hermits in mountains or forests. And, perhaps, at all, fruit of imaginations of people, tired of long travel.
