Whether water can burn

Whether water can burn

Modern knowledge says that water cannot burn, however one researcher managed to prove John Kanziusu the return. Later the experiment was confirmed by chemists from the University of Pennsylvania.

In compliance with modern knowledge from chemistry of burning processes, water will not burn. It is connected with the fact that oxygen in it is in completely restored state, and hydrogen – in completely oxidized, i.e. there is nobody to give electrons and there is nobody to accept. In this case burning – process of interaction with oxygen at which there is a luminescence and heat release. The chemistry says that water can burn only in gaseous fluorine with formation of fluoric acid and fluoride of oxygen.

"Pseudo science"

Some national handymen managed to create something like the perpetual motion machine on gravitation or permanent magnets. Usually treated it not really seriously. So happened also to water burning. There are interesting data which deserve attention. John Kanzius is a creator of fuel of an alternative type from salty water. He came to it purely accidentally. In 2003 to John underwent inspection on cancer. Found leukemia in it. After chemotherapy John wanted nothing any more, it was very heavy. However he decided to approach the solution of the problem independently. Studying different devices, he stopped on the generator of radio wave range. The fact is that the generator allows to heat metal particles in tumor cells focusing of radio waves on them.

Experiment

Making the experiments, John Kanzius noticed that by means of the generator it is possible to separate water from salt, directing the device to sea water. The fact is that in a point of concentration of radio waves there is a water collecting. Seeing it, John decided to design installation on which it would be possible to make a trial experiment. It did not manage it as the water collected in a test tube for some reason flashed. Water burning strongly guarded the researcher. John repeated experiment, having specially thrown the lit paper piece into a test tube. Water lit up again and burned until the generator worked. The researcher measured flame temperature, and it appeared to equal 1650 degrees. Nobody believed results, but scientists-chemists and the State university of the State of Pennsylvania made the same experiment and received similar results. The explanation why water can burn, is that radio waves break communications between components. Molecular hydrogen which, as a matter of fact, and burns is as a result emitted. About burning of the fresh or distilled water of information it was not published.
