Why in India there are red rains

"Bloody rains" is not a modern phenomenon as mentions of them are in Plutarch and Homer's works. Besides, there are proofs that red rains repeatedly went in different countries throughout many centuries. Nevertheless, scientists began to show much interest in them after emergence of the similar phenomena in India. The fact is that then there was a theory about extraterrestrial origin of the particles giving to water unusual color.

Red rains periodically went in the Indian state of Kerala from July 25 to September 23, 2001. It is interesting that water was painted not only in red, but also in green, yellow and black color. Wishing to find out the causes of so unusual phenomenon, the government of India organized a number of researches. In November they were ended, and scientists declared officially that unusual color of drops of a rain was caused by existence in them a dispute of seaweed. Also there was an unofficial version according to which clouds just mixed up with dust of a reddish shade.

Nevertheless, some researchers refused to accept such explanation. They claimed that shortly before emergence of "bloody rains" repeated explosions of meteors in the atmosphere of Earth were recorded. Respectively, parts of celestial bodies could paint water. So the American scientist Godfrey Luiz found out that rain water contained strange biological cages of presumably extraterrestrial origin which, theoretically, could contain in splinters of the died comet.

Experiments showed that in these cages there are no "terrestrial" molecules, and they are deprived by DNA. Besides, they are adapted for existence in conditions, very unusual to Earth. For example, such cages easily maintain temperature in 300 degrees Celsius at which even some of the most unpretentious terrestrial cages perish. Interest in origin of red rains amplified when Godfrey Luiz provided some proofs of the theory about extraterrestrial origin of the cages painting water. For several years the scientists made experiments and conducted researches, however to give the exact answer to a question from where these cages undertook and to what can bring their hit into rain water, it was not possible. The next red rain expected to fall in India on June 28, 2012, besides residents of the State of Kerala became his witnesses again. Collected samples of liquid will be used again when carrying out experiments. Perhaps, it will allow to finalize why there are red rains and to put the end to disputes of scientists.
