Static electricity results from friction between bodies which do not carry electric current, or are semiconductors. As an example it is possible to consider friction of synthetic fabric about a human body or soles of footwear about a covering on a floor. There are several ways of prevention of this not really pleasant phenomenon.
If you wear clothes from woolen or synthetic fabric, use special "antistatics" in the form of spray, they can be bought in any large shop. During washing of linen add the conditioners having antistatic properties to water.
At friction of a sole of footwear on a synthetic covering of a floor or linoleum, there is also static electricity. To avoid electric shocks, use insoles from cotton fabric as cotton interferes with formation of a statics. Today in shops it is possible to buy special disposable strips which have antistatic action.
For women whose hair are electrified under a headdress in the winter and do not "lie" correctly, there are special sprays, conditioners and shampoos having effect of antistatic. You can also buy the hair dryer which will neutralize static electricity by means of the ionizer. One of the reasons of emergence of a statics is too dry air indoors. If you use the heater – do not forget to moisten air in the room, put the capacity filled with water near the heating device. Having come home, try to touch with a key to any metal subject – thus it is possible to avoid electric shock if your body was loaded with static electricity. If near at hand there was no key or a coin, touch with the back of a palm objects which can strike with current. Electrostatic discharge can sometimes be the cause of breakage of the computer. For prevention of blow use a special bracelet which connects to the grounded device detail. Quite often beats people with current at an exit from the car. To avoid electric shock, process rugs and seats antistatic solution. Getting out of the car, do not forget to touch it at first with a key, and then already hands. It is also possible to undertake glass or a car body.
