Modern business represents not only the commodity-money relations. If to push an economic component into the background, then it is possible to notice that the considerable role in conclusion of profitable transactions, career development or the successful management of the company is played by business relations.

Ethics of business and business relations is a major element in professionalism formation. The civilized world forces any businessman to know elementary rules of good form. Concluding bargains at the international level and leaving a decency framework, the businessman risks to lose business contacts and at least to lose reputation at foreign colleagues. Therefore culture and ethics of business relations is a major factor of successful activity after an economic component.

Ethics and etiquette of business relations

Its further activity and success of development in many respects depends on the relations which are established in the organization. To carry out this activity at the appropriate level each employee regardless of that what position he holds, is obliged to observe the basic principles of ethics of business relations. Such behavior of the manager or all company when it contributes to the development is considered ethic, without violating any ethical standards. In other words, the behavior of each employee is an image of all organization in general, and from his ability will build communication to depend the relation to the organization of business partners, clients and people around.

Ethics of business relations in the organization is formed on a number of the principles:

  • the manager is obliged to treat the moral foundations existing in other countries and regions tolerantly;
  • in work of the manager at decision-making have to be combined reasonably individual and collective began;
  • as respect for ethical standards is based on social and psychological methods, obtaining the necessary result requires their prolonged use.

Also ethics of business relations provides the principles of the personality and professionalism. Regulations that the honor is more expensive than profit belong to the first type of the principles, violence and threats are not ways of achievement of the business purposes, and the basis of the relations is a respect of participants of common cause and self-esteem. Justification of trust of clients and partners, aspiration to win reliable reputation and the worthy competition belong to the principles of professionalism conducting business in compliance with means.

Ethics of business and business relations, as well as any part of culture, assumes existence of certain norms and rules. In business these rules look as follows:

  1. Be punctual. Any delay of the employee prevents work of all organization and characterizes it as the personality on whom it is impossible to rely. To time on performance of a certain task and also to allocate a stock of time for a case of emergence of problems, it is extremely important for the businessman.
  2. You should not tell superfluous. Each organization has secrets. Many employees at employment sign the contract on nondisclosure of mysteries of the company. The same rule should following in questions of private life of fellow workers.
  3. Consider the interests of the third parties. Success of business management consists in accounting of opinion of partners, clients and colleagues. In work it is impossible to be obsessed only with the interests and it is necessary tolerantly treats those who think differently.
  4. The clothes have to correspond to a dress code of the company. In any organization it is necessary to be allocated not with clothes, but working capacity. The speech has to be competent. The ability to speak influences its image in the opinion of people around. Business people are obliged to own art of rhetoric and to be able to convince the interlocutors.

Ethics of business relations has to be observed by all staff of the organizations. For successful and fruitful activity of the company, heads have to establish the positive relations with subordinates and introduce the rules of ethics based on true human values which will be observed in the organization. Finally the organization has to become a uniform organism, going towards a common goal, and observance of ethics of business and business relations will be the fine help in formation of team of adherents and professionals of the business.
