Parents are the closest people for any person. They give life, help to take the first steps, support at a difficult moment and always worry about the fate of the children. Reciprocity and respect of you - the best gratitude for them.

1. The person is imperfect by the nature therefore he can make mistakes. If your parents stumbled and made the wrong vital choice, it does not mean at all that now they deserved your lifelong condemnation. Reconcile to the fact that each person has the right for a mistake and help them to leave quicker the difficult period in life. Many children reproach and hesitate of alcoholic parents though more logical would be to suggest it to complete a course of disposal of an addiction and the support in fight against ""a green serpent"". Without your support in a difficult situation to them not to cope, once they helped you to overcome vital difficulties.
2. Forgiveness and understanding - the highest manifestations of love. For what do you hesitate of the parents? For physical ugliness - but how it is possible to hesitate of the fact that your father was traumatized on production and now his face is disfigured by a scar? For a loose way of life of mother - but if she could not cope with leaving of your father life and thus disappears from problems? For drug addiction - but if it is the only way to recover after the death of your brother? Think - whether condemnation in similar life situations has to take place. Partly you are guilty that at parents hands fell, you could give them the moral support. Understanding of the reasons of shortcomings of the parents and the indulgent attitude towards them will help you not to hesitate of those thanks to whom you were born.
3. Defend them human dignity. Some people hesitating own mother or the father support their offenders in their venomous jokes and insults. It is wrong. What they would not be - but these are your parents and to laugh at their shortcomings and problems immorally. Fight back those who took for the rule to throw mud at your relatives - hardly treat you more with respect if similar statements at your presence allow.
