The teenage age takes unawares not only children, but also their parents. The teenager plainly does not realize the changes happening to him. And parents are not ready to perceive him in a new way. All this leads to the fact that the contact existing earlier between the child and parents falls, and the teenager becomes reserved.
Instruction
1. Try to focus on positive traits of character of your child and more often to praise him. You do not stint a praise, as we know, "the praise inspires". You praise the teenage child even in case it seems to you that to perform any given task or work he could much better.
2. Constrain yourself accidentally not to reproach the teenager. At this age children treat remarks too crucially. The claim which escaped from your lips can lead to serious consequences: the teenager will begin "to wind himself" and to develop various negative thoughts because of what subsequently there can be complexes and the underestimated self-assessment.
3. Unostentatiously be interested in life of the child. But you remember: any notations! Criticism and notations – your enemies of the relations with the teenage child!
4. Try to become for the child the true friend. If you manage to find "a gold key" to the grown-up child, you will be able to achieve that the son or the daughter with you will be extremely frank that in turn will give you the chance to correct acts of the child and to save it from bad influence.
5. All conversations with the teenage child and lectures conduct only in kindly tone! If you feel that the peak of emotional pressure increases, postpone a conversation, feelings will not cease yet. You remember: before beginning a conversation with the teenage child, with it it is necessary to come into visual contact.
6. You share the life experience with the child. However do not undertake at all all cargo of its mistakes as it can lead to the fact that the teenager in the future will not be able to solve the arising problems independently.
