Concept of the personality

In modern psychology there is a set of various definitions of the personality.

The personality is understood how a certain complete education, a set of psychophysical features of the person, a mental tone and a spirit and also set of the preferences and habits created in development, sociocultural experience and knowledge of the world. All this defines daily behavior of the person, his communication with surrounding reality. Also the personality is understood as ensemble of the integrated worlds, that is a set of behavioural roles for various situations of interaction with society.

The identity of the person is shown in interaction of the subject with other members of society. Each person at the same time shows unique behavior in which, however, it can mark out inherent only mental features.

Representatives of various directions of psychology unequally represent structure of the personality and offer different explanations of structure of mental properties of the personality.
