How to force the child to read
You can use in advance prepared phrase: "Listen, the sonny, I persuaded to esteem you an hour and a half, and we read fifteen minutes. If you agreed at once, then hour fifteen, you would go about the own business". That is to read arrangements take much more time, than process of reading.
Having told this phrase, you can make "click" in children's mind, and the probability that the school student realizes importance of time is high. Will understand that "time-management" is not only adult, but also children's. Next time, when you ask it to read something, to it excess time will not want to sit, he will just make business and will be released. Tell it about it in a quiet situation, behind a cup of tea, not during performance of a task.

Try to tell the child that it is really difficult for him, there is no wish to study, and he is tired, but all children are in the same situation. Everything who studies in its class, at its school worry most too. All want to come home and to play or watch TV, or just to lie down, but nobody wants to do homework.
But homework is done by all, the vast majority of pupils of initial classes is tired, much should visit additional circles, sections. Those who study perfectly well are exposed to a bigger loading, they should spend even more time.
Tell it that also you passed this way, both the father, and the grandfather, and the grandmother. Such words at some point remove psychoemotional pressure, the child immediately understands that it is "team game", here in a different way in any way. Division of the fate with others somehow facilitates a condition of the pupil, it is such psychological reception which works even for adults.
Try to influence your school student by the offered methods. All have a different experience, on someone it will work, will not suit someone, someone simply does not need it. Look for different ways of influence, better own mother of the child is known by nobody!
