The world of myths surprises us with the integrity and completeness, apparently, in myths there are answers to any question, and it is not surprising, their creators worked on them scrupulously, as well as it is necessary to work on the history of creation of the world. Mythological knowledge is one of types of unscientific knowledge of the world.
Features of mythological knowledge
Mythological knowledge of the world is the fantastic reflection of reality accepted by the person not critically, and on trust. Creators of myths believed that these stories – experience of ancestors.
The person had no scientific knowledge adequately to explain the events in the world surrounding it. However there was an inquisitiveness which finished us (or it, the primitive person?) before those progress and opening that we have today.
It is possible to distinguish the most important and most popular subject of myths from feature of mythological knowledge – creation of the world. These are cosmogonic myths which tell about a Big Bang after which, gradually, the Universe and including, Earth was created. These myths are followed by stories about Chaos, his offsprings – Titans, war of gods who divided the power in the world. And also about an integral part of the world – the person who was always present at a background of a thunder and lightnings.
Despite of the lightness of knowledge of a mythological type seeming to us today, it executed the huge and meaning function. The myth informed through centuries of thinking course, life, relationship of the person with the world, and at the time, also helped the person to offer explanations on nature riddles, satisfied his curiosity, and was, actually, the beginning of origin of all sciences about life.
The modern science, of course, is skeptical about myths, however and sceptics recognize that it is impossible to be limited only to feelings and reason if it is about full intellectual development. And the scepticism on the relation of myths can be considered unreasonable, despite of the most improbable opening, the mankind still is divided into adherents of various and most extreme theories of creation of the world.
