The child has ability to independently study the world surrounding him. The little person intensively works on creation of world order model, clear for it, using not only possibilities of the native language, but also others ways, convenient for it. Figures from plasticine, the drawing, a hand-made article from natural material, a paper doll made as a gift to parents is language of communication and expressions of feelings of the kid. Unfortunately, adults are not always capable on advantage that huge intellectual and spiritual work of the child which was spent for graphic display of its inner world.
Usual situation: three-year-old Nikita with pleasure stretches to mother the drawing which he prepared for it as a gift. Today on occupation in kindergarten the kid thought of how he will hand to mother the picture with a lodge, florets and the sun. The teacher praised it for diligence. The boy very much waited for approval of mother, but she, having carelessly thrown a cursory glance according to the sheet of paper, put its gift in a bag, and ordered to gather to the child home. To the young woman it is absolutely unclear what grandiose sincere work was made by her sonny. Nikita wanted to show how strongly loves it what beautiful house at them, and as he is happy. Instead of encouragement, the boy received a portion of maternal indifference. In principle, her behavior is explainable too: was tired after work, day was hard, it is necessary to hurry to make a dinner. At this moment, mother, certainly, does not suspect that she will see consequences of the act shortly when unexpectedly the son bursts into tears or will tell her that more it does not love. On reception at the psychologist the parents, as a rule, complain that to such behavior the kid had no prerequisites. Say, is capricious without the reason.
How to do right thing
Mother and the father have to accept all hand-made articles of the child with a smile, it is obligatory to praise, pat on the back, to tell kind words, even if the drawn cat is similar to a blot more. It is necessary to consider attentively the drawing, to ask a question of what the young artist wanted to represent. It is possible to note that it turned out very well and that can be corrected. The criticism at this age should not be.
For drawings it is worth creating the separate folder, and for the best hand-made articles - a box. Children very much appreciate minutes of sincere communication when adults speak about them, consider photos or its drawings. Thus at the kid the respect for results of the work is cultivated, the self-assessment is formed and, the most important, desire to continue creativity process becomes stronger. The son or the daughter feel that their drawings are expensive to adults therefore they with pleasure undertake a new task.
Graphic language is a key to understanding of children's perception of the world, its sincere spirit. The keenness, patience and attentiveness from adults is necessary for full development of the preschool child.
