Daily modern person should face a set of difficult and stressful situations. At the high level of psychological stability the individual keeps an opportunity to suitably react and estimate the activity.

What defines mental and emotional stability of the person?

High psychological and emotional stability is characteristic of people with strong nervous system and good ability to self-control. Such persons possess a high self-assessment, adequately perceive reality and people around, are capable to regulate the actions proceeding from a situation, easily establish communicative connection and are non-conflicting.

Low psychological stability often happens at people to adynamic nervous system. Such individuals quickly are tired physically and mentally therefore they need softer conditions as nervous breakdowns and depressions are probable. People with the low level of socialization – such individuals of a konfliktna can also differ in emotional instability, are unbalanced, quick-tempered and badly adapt to the existing norms.

It is possible to define a condition of nervous system by tests. The major indicator – an encephalogram which is the indicator of a condition of an organism. In usual conditions the low psychological stability can be determined by motive tests – opportunities to long hold an inconvenient pose, to perform mechanical work and also by vegetative indicators – pulse rate, breath, arterial blood pressure, behavior of vessels of the head (redness or pallor of skin).

However even at adynamic nervous system it is possible to achieve high psychological and emotional stability, thanks to personal self-control. Success is achieved in this case by the strong-willed, intellectual developed persons capable to neutralize negative emotions and experiences, to direct aggression to other course.
