Purposes and barriers"

is known that at each person, he knows about it or not, there are definite purposes. Certainly, the person with concrete and accurately a goal has more chances of success than the person with the subconscious and not clear purpose.

Many often confuse the purpose with desires, dreams, requirements it is, etc. important to understand that the purpose is serious and accurately intelligent concept. It surely has to be real, achievable and certain in time. As for time frames then the purposes can be set both for one-two days, and for twenty years. Of course, many will be surprised, twenty years are nearly a half of life in many countries. However, such global purpose is always divided into slightly long-term which, in turn, are divided into a huge number of short-term objectives (short-term objectives can be divided into tasks, and tasks – into steps). Especially in twenty years a lot of things can change therefore such global purposes rather flexible and easily give in to large-scale adjustments.

Practice shows that people who do not put to themselves global or at least long-term goals in the life are inclined to carry out either the easiest, or the most terrible (and that with a great effort in order that quicker to finish it)

What can characterize the purpose as qualitative and correct? First, the purpose doomed to success has to be concretized. Each step has to be registered in it. It is necessary to see also at least approximately result which will be achieved after performance of the objective. Still very important that the purpose was "". Often happens so that the person sets the wrong purpose because of imposing from the party or under pressure of society owing to what cannot achieve desirable result. It is necessary to go towards the aim step by step, executing certain rules.

Certainly, the way to achievement of the goal seldom is easy. The person should overcome many barriers and barriers. At the critical moments when hands absolutely fall, and the despair begins, the following will help: write every six months on the sheet of paper about events which brought you the highest pleasure. At the difficult moments reconsider this leaf and self-confidence will come back.

Also seldom what person on the way to the purpose can avoid mistakes. But mistakes are not the most terrible, especially if it is correct to analyze them. Practice shows that after commission of a mistake the people start the analysis in three ways:

  1. Recognize a mistake and draw conclusions.
  2. Circumstances, surrounding people, say, begin to blame everything, except themselves.
  3. Pretend that it was not the mistake, but desirable result.

Certainly, two last ways are harmful and not constructive therefore they should be avoided. It is also important to adhere to correctly chosen priorities and to try not to change them.

What else there can be barriers? Incomplete affairs can hinder achievement of the goal. Of course, there are people with high self-organization who can control several important issues at the same time, but if it causes discomfort in you, then incomplete affairs need to be finished as soon as possible or if it is possible, to cancel.

The lack of motivation can become a barrier too. There is a quite good technique which will help you to carry out careful introspection and to raise a self-assessment.

For a start, write down on the sheet of paper five most important achievements in the life. Then write down what ideas and what decisions helped you to carry out these achievements. Think what decisions for future achievements should be made.

Then write down on the sheet of paper five biggest failures in the life. Then write how you justified these failures. Think what decisions led to these failures and that it is worth making not to allow them further.

Many divide dreams and the purposes, saying that it is two different concepts. In general, they are right. But happens and so that the dream can turn into the purpose. You can write four most cherished dreams on the sheet of paper. That they turned into the purpose, they have to be real and achievable. Visualization of a dream will be the following step. There are many ways of visualization of a dream, one of the best is "The card of a dream" - take drawings, the picture, cuttings from magazines, records and many other things, then place on a big Whatman paper which should be hung up on a wall. From time to time improve and change contents of "The card of a dream". Then it is worth declaring the dream. The best option is to tell about it to the relatives, in detail describing the feelings, thoughts and future actions.

Perhaps, your dream will be attacked. There will always be sceptics who will adduce the mass of arguments against your dream. Act this way - for each dream list:

  1. What argument?
  2. Who about it told?
  3. When about it did tell?

It will allow you to understand that about eighty percent of arguments are "sticks in wheels", but not constructive criticism.
