Diffidence – the reason of many problems. Because of it people fail transactions, pull down the career, and hesitate to fulfill the most cherished dream in life. And to be self-assured – it is not so difficult as it seems: to know the rights and to be able to argue the point of view, to believe in itself and the opportunities, not to worry because of opinion of people around. If you cannot rank yourself as the people possessing even this modest set do not despair - you will always be helped by a training of self-confidence – the exercises developing a self-assessment and forming inclinations of the leader.

Exercises on development of self-confidence

A number of the presented exercises will allow you not only to create self-confidence, but also to develop will and to learn to suppress weaknesses. For performance of some of the presented examples of exercises, you need the help of group of friends or relatives.

Exercise "Confidence formation"

Exercise purpose: using this equipment, you will be able to suppress the fears and fears, to find good health and confidence in the forces.

Instruction:

  • write the report on the merits, abilities and achievements;
  • convince yourself that you have qualities which it is possible and it is necessary to develop. And
  • developing these qualities, constantly repeat this belief;
  • imagine that you the self-assured personality who already achieved the objectives and gained authority of people around;
  • learn to feel internal confidence in the forces each section of an organism.

Exercise drawing "I such what what I am"

Exercise purpose: development of more objective self-assessment.

Instruction: gather group of friends where everyone has to draw himself, but so that nobody saw. When all drawings are ready, them it is necessary to mix and exchange impressions on each creation that is seen by participants in each drawing and what, according to them, in it does not get.

Exercise equipment of "Sic volo"

Exercise purpose: the equipment helps to develop will, to find self-confidence and to feel internal freedom.

Instruction: in lunch time or at the end of the day arrange before yourself the sheet A3 or A4 in horizontal position. In the left edge of a leaf write out a column all affairs executed today. Those that were complete, for example: "came to office", "read the contract", "drank coffee during the lunchtime". Write what will come to the first to mind and be not afraid that you can forget and not write about some important issue. To the right of each business draw the return arrow (<-) and write why you made it for the sake of what or for what purpose. If you made two or three affairs on the same reason, carry out the same arrow to these affairs. But for some reasons there are reasons too. For example, to action "ate" there is a reason "to me force and energy are necessary" and to it in turn too there is a reason "my organism needs it". Thus, you have to look for the reasons of the reasons it perhaps so far. They can be continued indefinitely, but sooner or later you will reach the prime causes of the acts. And most of them will get under one of these categories: "it is my duty", "it left accidentally", "a habit of which I do not want to get rid yet", "it is requirements of my organism to which I cannot but listen". Now, when you stopped drawing the scheme and found all prime causes, you can have some content. However, happen a case when you do not know that to specify as the prime cause. For example, you found a homeless cat and look after her. What reason of your actions? If you do not know what reason to specify in it and similar cases, write a phrase in quality of the prime cause "I so want", as is the translation of a Latin phrase of "Sic volo". Each such case where you write this phrase will mean that you are ready to continue such arbitrariness in the actions, and are ready to be responsible for it. And the more often you will speak to yourself "I so want", the your internal freedom and self-confidence will become broader.

Exercises on increase in self-confidence

Exercise auto-suggestion "Increase in confidence"

Purpose: exercise helps those who worry because of a lack of confidence at communication with people around.

Instruction: accept a pose convenient to you in which it is possible to relax. At least three times say each of phrases:

  • my body has to be weakened;
  • my body has to be heavy;
  • in my body it has to be felt warmly.

Try to relax as it is possible stronger and to disperse excess thoughts the following phrases:

  • for several minutes my mind has to become free;
  • all foreign thoughts have to disappear gradually;
  • now to me has to begin to think laziness of something foreign.

Further use the auto-suggestion formulas intended for increase in confidence:

  • I have the right to be independent;
  • I have the right to success;
  • I have the right to be listened and taken seriously;
  • I have the right to receive what I pay for;
  • I have the right to ask what there is a wish for;
  • I have the right to make mistakes and to be responsible for them.

Exercise ""Present yourself a name""

Purpose: achievement of a balanced emotional state, tranquility and confidence. It is carried out in group.

Instruction: participants accept a convenient pose and relax. Further it is said to everyone: "Remember an event when you felt sure and successful. Where and when it took place. Remember the feelings and endure this event again". On performance of a task about 7 minutes are given. After this time the participants have to discuss results of the visualization of an event. Everyone has to tell about the seen event with obligatory addition of the source which caused feeling of confidence, success, etc. After listening of all stories the group thinks out to each participant a new name in which that fortune which he came into has to be reflected, having remembered an event. For example: "I am that which. (does that)", or "I am self-assured when I. (I do that)".

It is worth carrying out all exercises approximately once a week. Though it is quite possible that only one assimilation of these the technician will already give to many readers force and self-confidence.
