They say that all men of a poligamna. This phrase means that men cannot love one woman and often are fond of others. However earlier this expression had a few other value.
It is a little history
Polygamy — a polygamy, marriage when one of the parties has several partners. Most often, the man has several wives. In the modern world the polygamy is widespread in the basic among Muslims and Hindus and also in some African countries. But the polygamy was mentioned in the Old Testament.
Historically the polygamy was the privilege of the nobility: what the person is richer with, that he could have the bigger number of wives. The Arab sheikhs and the Chinese emperors besides wives had also the uncountable number of concubines.
So who is he — the polygamous man? Men like to write off the numerous love affairs and unfaithfulness by the "polygamy" which is allegedly put in them by the nature. But the nature cannot create females, various on priorities, and males of one look. It turns out then, as women of a poligamna too? In the modern world of the concept "love" and "sex" are not identical concepts. By the nature it is not predetermined in what marriage — polygamous or monogamous there has to live a person. People fall in love, marry, raise children because to it they were led by social conditions of development of modern society.
The slogan is well-known: "Family — a cell of society".
Polygamy and monogamy
The European man chooses monogamous marriage because it is so accepted in society in which he lives. And if in the Middle Ages the marriages consisted in the European countries purely from practical calculations, marriages consist in the modern world (in most cases) on love. But how to explain then unfaithfulness of the husband and love affairs on the party which trap the majority of marriages today? Business here not in the polygamous nature of the man, and in his psychology and morality. If the man inherently poligamen, means sex to it more important, than love. Sex with different partners is more attractive to it just. He is free in the choice. This its right. Such man should not marry and start a family. But as foundations of society force it to marry and be the good family man, he is forced to make it purely of practical reasons.
In such marriages the unfaithfulness of the husband does not have the end.
If the man is monogamous, he chooses one and only. For him the love and sex are a one concept. So it was brought up by parents, such relations surrounded it in real life, and it will give it to the children. The polygamous man is a myth. Everything depends on social norms and foundations in society, in family. An important role in it is played by religion In the majority of the Muslim countries the polygamy is accepted. But it again developed historically and turned into social norm Tenor of life which developed in Muslim families during very long time, allows to coexist together to numerous wives. Firm Muslim rules and traditions hold an order and the world in such families. But it does not speak about natural polygamy of Muslim men at all. It is only other community of people.
